میهمانSo — have been messing about with this thing for maybe a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. I’m based in the UK, mostly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.
What got me on it was honestly embarrassing — I couldn’t ever work out what an each way return would be with 1/5 odds a place. I’d just wing it and then be surprised. These days I punch the numbers in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.
The single bet calculator is the one I’m on daily — you put in your stake, the odds and it spits out profit and total return straight away, either odds format. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — acca and treble maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, honestly that’s where I’d always lose track. Have a go yourself, it’s over at fixed odds calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.
One thing that really changed how I bet is the nerdier bits. They’ve got an implied probability calculator and it makes obvious how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly staking tool — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit if I’m covering two or three runners.
Not all sunshine though. Its layout feels pretty plain — no polish, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. On my phone it’s fine though the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s no proper app, just the site — slight shame but you asked.
So yeah. Free, barely any ads, does the job. If anyone still adds it up in their head, try it — saves me plenty of arguments with the bookie.
